Big Horn Basin Area Information

Some of the very finest communities in the West are found right here in Wyoming, in our Big Horn Basin! Our office is located in Cody, but our days are spent in all areas of the Big Horn Basin showing properties, playing and living. Our area is also known as the "Banana Belt" of the Rocky Mountain Region because we enjoy such great weather, mild winters, blue skies and lots of wide open spaces.
Wyoming has no State income tax, no corporate tax, no real estate transfer tax, no inheritance tax, and sales taxes of only 4% on everything except food, and one of the lowest property taxes in the nation. If for no other reason, Wyoming low cost of living is worthy of consideration by anyone wishing to become a resident or property owner.
Wyoming's State leadership (Governor & Legislature) have worked together to provide sound direction for over 110 years. We take seriously our duty to protect Wyoming's water (Wyoming is the headwater for five of the major rivers of the west), our clean air and environment, maintaining a sound economic structure, and assuring sound development of our major resources, agriculture, the mineral industry, tourism, recreation, small business and people.
